November 2008

In November we went to Yakima for a celebration of life for my dear Aunt Edna. She was Mom's youngest sister. She had five children Mahlon, Bobby, Mary Ann, Becky and Thad. They were all there so I was able to get a picture of them.
The other picture is of Bob and Whitnee.
Kaden turned two on Thanksgiving day. He will be getting a new little brother in May. They are very excited. Also some exciting news is that Chad and Shannon will be having a baby in July. This is Chad's first child and Shannon's second child...Chad will be 34 in January so he is very excited for this little one to come.

Bob, Grandma and I traveled to see some of the kids. WE stayed in Burley with The Hills on Friday nite. Then went up to Blackfoot to see Kyle and Tammi and kids. They were having the Eastern Idaho Fair and parade when we got there on Sat. The road was blocked to get to their house. ha ha. We went back to Pocatello and all went swimming. It was fun. We celebrated Whitnee May's 6th birthday. She is such a cutie. Lacy drove up from Utah and we all went to church with KYle and Tam. It was a wonderful time. It is so good to see everyone and see how well they are doing with their new jobs and new homes. Kyle is teaching Art at the Middle school. Michael is teaching P.E. at the High School.

Moving the Hills to Burley, Idaho

We went down for the weekend to help Michael and Emily move to their new home in Burley. We loved their new home and High School that Michael will be teaching P.E. and Health at.

Lacy drove up from Utah and helped clean the kitchen and play with the kids (What a great Aunt)..The kids fight over who is going to sit by her. WE took the kids for a walk to the Storybook Park. We toured the Twin Falls temple. We went to church with them. We are sad to see them move but realize it is only a 2 hours and 40 minutes away from us. Not too bad. We are so happy for them and their new adventure in life.!!!

Family Vacation to Wallowa, Oregon

This is our 2nd annual trip to Wallowa with family. Joanna and Barry drove all the way from California to be with everyone. We so enjoyed the trip to Wallowa because there is so much to do there and it keeps all the family happy. We took 21 of us there this year. We enjoyed swimming, paddle boating, go cart riding, hiking, feeding the fish, feeding the deer, eating, roasting marshmallows to make smores, and much much more.

I loved this picture of us going on a walk.

Makaylee and Whitnee were helping Kaden

keep up with everyone.

We are Family

Bob still plays the cello. We talked him into playing it at Christmas last year. He has a love of music, family and the scriptures.

Keevan is 16 and will be a senior next year. He loves wrestling and weight lifting. He is working at DJ's restaurant and saving to go to college. What an amazing young man!!!

What's in a Family Name?

Kyle, Tammi, Skyler and Destiny Rose.

Did I ever tell you how many Rose's we have in our family?

Well, let me tell you .....Me Rose was named after my Grandma Rose from my Dad's side. Then we named our 5th Child Emily Rose. Next came Alexandra Rose from Joanna. Then came Makaylee Rose from Emily Rose and last came Destiny Rose from Kyle and Tammi.

I better mention that Kyle was named Kyle Robert for his Dad and Skyler was named Skyler Robert.....

We are the MacKenzie's and No one can be Prouder

We use to chant that theme when the kids were young...

WE are the MacKenzie's and no one could be Prouder

And if you don't believe us we'll yell a little louder.

(Don't encourage us to yell louder, we are already Loud)

Here is a picture of Chad and his girlfriend Shannon. She is a sweetie.

Children Grow up So Fast

Makaylee and Whitnee are Emily's girls and Zavie' is Jami's little guy.

I am learning to put some pictures on here. It has been a slow process for me but I am learning. As you can
see, I don't know how to turn Kaden around.

Here are some more pictures. One of Isaac and Ryanne. Isaac is a teacher at the High School in Fruitland. He teaches math and coaches wrestling. Ryanne works at a bank and their little boy is Kaden. Kaden is 1 1/2 years old. What a doll.

Oldest and Youngest

This is our oldest daughter, Jami and our youngest daughter, Lacy.

Jami is working as a restaurant manager, she has two boys, Keevan 16 and Zavie 3.

She is such a loving and caring girl that has a kind and giving heart.
